Quinn Robertson Chester Can't believe McGregor and Elmo don't get in there - but Quinn completely changed the game, and Robertson was the stand-out for us in the first half before Quinn's influence.
Really difficult to choose Quinn - immense when he came on Robertson - ran that left side , great debut Ince - all over the place Chester - great goal McGregor = saved us in last 10 minutes . so , I go Chester Robertson Quinn
1) Quinn (Outstanding when he came on full stop) 2) Chester 3) Robertson (just edged out McGregor for me as he had never played at this level before). Sorry Alan.
Already increased in value and a few more performances like that and we shall be talking serious wonga for the lad. Only 20 ffs. Looks 12.
Not a chance in hell. Especially now that Snodgrass could be out for a while. Quinn actually improved us when he came on. Sad for Snoddy but great that Quinn-iesta has grabbed his chance. You need to look elsewhere now.
Just seen Joey Barton on twitter ask opta for all the stats from our game and proceeded to point out that QPR were superior in almost every department. You can try and spin it however you like Joey but the only stat that matters is the final score and hard luck son , you lost 1-0 #nilpoint
He's asking if they could make a stat for luck, well Joey how about the luckiness of a certain pen not given to us and the certain non-pen given to you?
1. McGregor - Served up some justice with a sweet penalty save, the second time he's done that on the opening day of the season. Good reflexes to deny other opportunities. 2. Chester - Good goal, good all round performance, testament to his day that he eclipsed Davies by some way. 3. Robertson - Not seen a debut that good for a while, looks really sharp and at 20 has the footballing world at his feet. Special mention to Quinn who was epic when he came on, but I'm not sure he's a long term replacement for Snodders, simply because I don't think he's an out and out winger. However, if he can keep up that level of performance he'll be a force for us this year.
Finally finished counting! This weeks result: Chester Quinn Robertson I'm pretty sure that's the most votes we've ever had on one of these threads - obviously the more votes the better! Few stats: James Chester got more points from this game than anyone's ever had before - he got 161, the previous best was Davies against Villa at home last year with 128. Chessy only got 105 points more in the whole of last season than he did from the QPR game! Stephen Quinn got 98 points, so we've still never had a second place with more than 100, but he's the highest second place and Robertson third ever. Also McGregor with 60 is the highest non-scorer since I started doing this!
