Huddlestone was fine. he's not going to be given the space to impose himself all the time but he keeps shape and does simple thing well relieving pressure.
This. People think if hes not scoring or creating every week he's played poorly. Remember he's our defensive midfielder. He made more tackles last season than any other City player. His wonderful passing is a bonus.
I think Hudd played very well in the second half. He put himself about a bit more and read the game very well. First half we struggled, QPR were hitting it long and missing out the midfield all together meaning Hudd and Livermore were ineffective.
Chester - Briiliant in defense and the winning goal too Quinn - Transformed our midfield offensively when he came on. Has to stay. Robertson - Great debut. What a steal. Special mention - Elmo - Always looked dangerous with his speed. Covered back well....crucial tackle on Zamora.
Woeful first half. Quinn must be MOM, he made the difference when he came on. Why we would want to sell him I have no idea. Robertson instills confidence in one. And never once tried to imitate Figueroa imitating Paul McShane before he became Super Mac.
Chester Robertson McGregor Quinn looked good when he came on too. I thought Chester was brilliant today; great header from the corner but he was brilliant defensively too, in particular his diving header near the end. Robertson fitted perfectly into the 3-5-2 system, and was full of energy from the start and put in a couple of great crosses - very good debut from him. McGregor was solid throughout and had a busy day, his penalty save and acrobatics to stop Jelavic's miskick going in stand out in particular.
