Chester Robertson Quinn Special mention also to Elmo who i thought had a very good game defensively today including that vital last ditch tackle on Zamora towards the end
Chester Robertson McGregor Was incredibly hard to choose between Quinniesta and McGregor, but the satisfaction of seeing that disgusting decision of a penalty saved just wins it.
The first half passed him by but he looks sharp on the ball and his attacking running is excellent. He burst from deep to create his own chance one on one with the keeper. He didn't put it in and Green was on top of him quickly but it was still the sort of run we need players to be making. I thought when he got into the game he gave us an extra edge.
Chester Robertson McGregor. Quinn was excellent when he came on. Jelavic isolated and generally ineffective. Elmo, Livermore, Davies so so Huddlestone worryingly quiet. Inch gash.
I watched on a **** pub stream so no complaints from me if you discount this: Chester McGregor Robertson Quinn is unlucky to miss out. Scored from his cross yet again. The guy just guarantees assists. Thought Ince looked alright too, that run where he nearly scored was brilliant, he sprinted half the length of the pitch to overlap Quinny. Special mention also for Elmo who singlehandedly got us the corner we scored from with a run down the right. Thought we were very good second half but spent too much time on the back foot in the first. The defence as usual were very good and kept us in the game. Davies got done a few times but Chester was faultless from what I can recall.
I also thought he grew into the game. He made some good runs and I think he will do just fine for us this season.
1) Robertson - Very enthusiastic & confident, didn't look out of place in the Premier League at all. Looks as though he could grab a couple of goals on counter-attacks and looks pretty resolute at the back too. Very good buy. 2) Chester - Reliable, solid, assured & never looked to be out of place. Had a great game at the back, did everything right and couldn't fault him on anything. Delighted he's scored. 3) Quinn - Our midfield was lacking before he came on, Barton and Faurlin were running the show in the middle, but Quinniesta linked up well, got us moving and looks to be fighting for a place in the starting 11 which is always good.
