Chester Quinn Brady Great team performance with some of the most positive play for months. Everyone put in a good shift - one of Elmo's best games this season.
We were solid at the back, showed exactly how to nullify Zaha and Bolasie, we counter attacked with guile, creativity and we managed to convert shots on target into goals, overall a good day at the office! 1. N'Doye - Took his second goal very well, could of had 4/5, also very unlucky on a number of occasions as he was fouled a few times but didn't get the decision. 2. Harper - McGregor who? Made a few vital interceptions/saves and also cleared the box with 3 punches from set pieces, don't ever remember McGregor completing one. 3. Aluko - Showed quality and added that spark you need when going forward. Great ball into Brady who set up N'Doye, used the ball very well. 3rd could of gone to any other player in all honesty, everyone played well, no one played badly. Let's hope it continues, and if it does we will be safe.
Difficult as it was a solid team performance. N'Doye -goals Chester - looked a class defender Harper - a couple of saves but more importantly, a poor kicked clearance aside, he made our defence look a little more composed. However, there were no weak links. I thought Huddlestone and Livermore played really well.
Chester Harper Aluko I feel harsh not finding space for Livermore, Huddlestone, Quinn, N'Doye or Brady. Two goals for N'Doye but he really should have scored more, missed some glorious opportunities. Thankfully for once it hasn't cost us.
Great performance - just shows how good we can be at the back without having to put up with Junior week in week out and with Quinn in midfield without having to put up with Meyler Chester N;Doye McShane
Very hard to choose 3 from today's display . What a game ! Well worth the trip .. 1Chester 2 Quinn 3 N'Doye
