    Could have pick any of them, Thudd controller the second half, Livermore and Meyler didn't give them a second on the ball, Sagbo led the line brilliantly. But the defence never gave them a sniff against a world class striker.

    In no particular order.

    Sagbo
    Bruce
    Davies

    Figueroa, Meyler and Elmo could easily be included as well. Davies was an absolute rock at the back, Meyler worked his socks off in midfield and Elmo put in a fantastic shift, he looks so much better when he's played in his natural position.

    All 3 fûcking fantastic, but Bruce was insane. How many brilliant and perfectly times tackles can a man make in one game? Goes for all 3 of them that, top notch defending.

    1) Livermore - Signing him is more important than a striker
    2) Bruce - Top CB performance
    3) Figueroa - So many top blocks to keep Sterling out of the game

    Otherwise, Elmo had his best performance, Meyler was class, as were Davies and Sagbo. McGregor's save was sensational. Brady still isn't up to speed and Koren was dire first half. Huddlestone hasn't been as good as he was the first couple of weeks but when he plays further up he can do things like that turn on the edge of the box.

    Not the best performance ever but Liverpool weren't great either. Fantastic win and brilliant support!

    Tough call though, what a performance that was, so satisfying to be able to text my father and brother in law telling them that is why my 10 week old son is a City fan not a Liverpool fan!
