personally i vote on what i see on a match by match basis. why would it make a difference whether the results are updated or not?

Bob - I cannot agree with this. If we want a proper vote for player of the year then it should be based on the full season, not just the last 3 months - which is all anyone voting "blind" is likely to remember.
So do we all, but this little league is collectively who we as a board believe to be motm each week, so logically whoever wins this league at the end of the season should win an end of season player of the year vote. My point is, when peoole see who win this league, it could consciously or subconsciously influence who they vote for in a single end of year poll. Without people really knowing who they and others have voted for and believed to perform best on a match by match basis throughout the season, it could create some interesting votes when compared with a seperate single vote for player of the season.
