Dawson had some shocking passages of play today and one of the worst back passes I've seen, god only knows how it wasn't a goal, my heart was in my mouth, I love what he's done for city, but his time is up
1. Elmo; 2. McShane; 3. Aluko I can't believe McKenna's actually had votes. He was very, VERY poor today. Some of the worst passing I've seen in a long time. He was to passing what Aaron McLean is to the first touch
oo oo he says in a condescending amber nectar voice, he does all the things the under class arent clever enough to see....
He was on the half way mark on the left in the second half and instead of playing it forward he decides to play it back towards the middle where an Ipswich player was lurking, I think it was Faye who made a solid takle to win the ball back. If you can't remember that it's when the crowd went 'ooooow!' in horror
1. Elmohammady 2. Proschwitz 3. McKenna I thought Quinn had a good first half, but was really poor in the second and McShane gets marked down for the poor defending that led to the goal.
1, Elmo 2, McKenna 3, Dawson I always wonder what people criteria to win a motm award, god knows where the crowd got Aluko from today!! He had a couple of decent runs, other then that his crossing was poor, and Simpsons movement was far better. Any way, the rational for my selections: Elmo - played in 3 postions in the match, and looked great in all three, tracked, tackled, passed well, and his delivery..... McKenna - Should be captain in my opinion, involved in everything, gets stuck in, covers every bit of ground, passing and delivery is good. Our own Scotty Parker Dawson, third was a tough choice, Simpson worked hard, great movement and link up play, bit wasteful. Quinn covered ground well, linked in well, Prozz was a good impact but hard to judge in 15 mins. So for me Dawson was the one, covered well, got forward to support attack, and did his own job well. For me the biggest plus was the squad ability to adapt to formations, we went into three formations today, and the lads handled the changes well. Fair play to Bruce, NP and NB seemed to only have one formation
After watching it again 50/50 for Rosy and Mckenna, probably more so Mckenna as he cut inside of Rosy. Piss poor by all 3 though.
I don't understand the love affair with McKenna either, he was ****e again yesterday. If there's a weak link in the team then it's him. I'll go for... 1. Elmohamady 2. Proschwitz 3. McShane
1. Quinn 2. Elmohamady 3. Proschwitz Special mention to Macca (both Maccas actually), they both looked steady. McShane couldn't really do much about the goal, if he'd have dived in it would have been a penalty and a card. Proschwitz looked relieved to have scored, think he deserved them after the effort he put in. I thought Quinn was excellent today; he didn't stop running and his set up play was really spot on. He was guilty of a couple of misplaced passes at some point, but I thought overall he was the best player on the park.
