Exactly, he played pretty well on Tuesday and I even included him in my top 3, but Chester was an absolute class above the other night.
If McShane does get a new deal, I sure hope Chester gets an improved deal with the money we would save by reducing Macca's wage
Quinn 31 Aluko 23 Chester 22 McShane 21 Elmohammady 16 Faye 14 Simspon, Brady 13 Evans 11 Proschwitz 7 Dudgeon 6 Bruce 5.5 Koren, Jakupovic 5 Amos, Hobbs 4 McLean, McKenna, Gedo 3 Stewart, Stockdale, Meyler 2 Olofinjana 1 Cairney 0.5 Rosenior, Dawson, Fryatt, Oxley, Cooper, Devitt, Cullen, East, Bradley, Townsend, Fathi 0
Surprised Elmo is only on 16, he's played more than Aluko and McShane I would imagine and been consistently good all season.
He usually comes 4th or 5th in the weekly vote so he has plenty of votes but not that many points. I'm surprised Quinn's so far ahead to be honest, before Aluko got injured Sone was 2 points in front, obviously not Quinn's running away with it a bit.
I think Quinn has been far from his best for quite awhile now to be honest, he was simply superb in the earlier stages of the season but he just doesn't seem to have the same impact anymore and goes un noticed for chunks of games. I guess the buzz of playing for a big club may have worn off a bit by now...
