Oh right, forgot he was the third CB. I was thinking of the fact Rosie was LW and thought Fig didn't play. He seemed pretty invisible to me!

I believe that, with Tickles' nomination of Figueroa, all 11 starting players have been nominated (plus Harper).

    Is that a first?

I was going to say it must be the first time both goalkeepers have been nominated, then I thought Palace away, did McG and Hudd both get one?

All the back 3 were fantastic, feel guilty leaving everyone else out because it was a brilliant away team performance. Cracking day well worth the trip, you don't get many like that.

Figueroa got embarrassed by Jones, if Jones could hit a bus on a bandstand with a biscuit barrel Figueroa would have been solely and directly at fault for at least two goals.

In fact the whole defence was all over the place and each and all played their share in giving away a cargo ships worth of chances in the first half hour, if Cardiff had their shooting boots on and buried half of those we could have easily and fairly conceded 5 goals in 30 minutes, then we'd all be talking about how dire the defence is and we hope Chester is match fit ASAP.

On account of that I don't think any of the defence can make the top 3 when there were at least 2 complete performances elsewhere, notably Rosey and Meyler, who were just utterly fantastic start to finish.

    Just my take on it.

Nope, McGregor didn't get a vote that night, and Huddlestone only got 4!

I think it would have been, but Huddlestone didn't get a nomination, Febbos mentioned him but when more than 3 players are nominated I just take the first three mentioned.

The results (table on the Brighton game)

    Jelavic
