You put that every bloody week. Then go on to name someone who had a ****e game at number one, like Brady for instance.
I'm still not sure why Quinn is getting votes. He didn't do anything of note, or anything at all really.
He was bloody terrible, by far the worst game ive seen him have for us, and apart from Evans he was our worst player.
They used to say that about Ian Ashbee. I'm not saying they're similar players, they're not. But there does seem to be a similar attitude from some, about a player who does a lot of the unpretty stuff. It's funny how so many have changed their attitude on Ash,since he retired.
Not sure i watched the same game as some. How did Bolton play without a right back? They had a right back and Pratley marking Brady for the whole game, thats not even up for debate it was clear fact. They forced him inside and they marked him out the game completely, its only down to his ability that he managed to get to the byline in the second half. To say his crossing is average is just wrong, i think he has had 4 assists out of our last 6 goals. His set pieces are not great, but he seems to be the only one stepping up to take them. No-one else is stepping up to take them so i think they should get the blame not him. I rate Brady very highly, and i think the fact we had to sign as others where interested shows he has clear talent.
I've been saying for a while now that I think Quinn needs a rest, perhaps starting from the bench. He hasn't had a prolonged period out of the starting XI since he came in, so maybe starting him on the bench and playing Cairney against Birmingham would 1) Give him that rest and 2) Give him motivation to work harder for the place. As for man of the match, nobody really could be arsed. Felt really sorry for Gedo, he kept running forward toward the area expecting the ball, turned round and the ball had been played back or lazily given away. Must've been frustrating for him. Probably give it to Boyd and he only played half an hour, which says more about the others performances than his (he was very good though). Stockdale's mistakes are becoming costly, he made 2 on Saturday and 1 against Brighton and they cost us points. He's far and away not the worst goalie I've seen and he's a good goalkeeper at this level; I'd certainly have him in goal over Amos.
I think we did watch different games cos I saw Brady in the most space on the pitch time and time again yet his delivery was appalling. Don't get confused here, I'm not saying he's **** or questioning his ability nor what he did in previous games. The vote is for this game as suggested by the subject header and he was ****ing awful.
On the last bit, others are questioning his ability. He made the keeper make the only save and everytime he had the ball he had two men on him, so not sure what else he could do. How can you dent Pratley and there RB where on him everytime, which they where. No-one moved for him, no-one made space, so he had two men to take on which is nearly impossible.
Final result this week: Boyd Brady Quinn This weeks table: Quinn 32 Aluko 23 Chester 22 McShane 21 Elmohammady 20 Faye, Brady 14 Simspon 13 Evans 11 Proschwitz, Hobbs 7 Dudgeon, Gedo 6 Bruce 5.5 Koren, Jakupovic 5 Amos, Meyler 4 McLean, McKenna, Boyd 3 Stewart, Stockdale 2 Olofinjana 1 Cairney 0.5 Rosenior, Dawson, Fryatt, Oxley, Cooper, Devitt, Cullen, East, Bradley, Townsend, Fathi 0
Have Cooper, Devitt, East, Bradley or Townsend actually played for us in any competition this season? If not, it seems harsh listing them as 0s!
None of them have played for us this season and Cooper, Devitt, Bradley and Townsend have no chance of doing so, so there's not much point in listing them. East is at least back with us, but he's not returned from injury yet and almost certainly won't be involved when he does(I expect he'll go out on emergency loan if he gets fit early enough).
It's good that Boyd already has 3 points, despite only playing half an hour for us, very promising indeed!
I don't know about that, Cooper's obviously gone, Cullen and Devitt will also be gone at the end of the season, but of the others, Bradley's a decent player(if a bit of prat) and I rate Townsend.
I've just listed every player with a squad number when they get one, I'll take them out next time I do an updated table. Bit harsh, Cooper never let us down, Cullen and Devitt are gone and Bradley and Townsend are both getting regular league football.
