Other than the meyler head injury thought the ref did well, only other controversial decision was not giving arsenal a penno for handball by Chester near the end
I'm with you Charlie - he had a good game, along with the other two centrebacks ............... if it comes to fisticuffs, I've got your coat!
Macca made some right clangers tonight. Never ever let a ball bounce, basics. Lucky to get away with it.
Macca - Outstanding, fought for every ball, was tremendous on headers, some nice through balls Quinniesta....A real terrier in MF and a great run for his headed goal Brady....Great crosses should have led to us taking the lead but Aluko blew it. Dishonorable mention....Tom Huddlestone...what an abject performance. His giveaways led to first two goals. Looked like he was half asleep. We need to move him on in the summer.
Chester - The only time have agreed with Peter Swan this season is when he described Chester as a Rolls Royce defender, he was faultless all night apart from the handball, which should of been given. Quinn - Got stuck in and put a shift in, used the ball wel, and of course a great run and finish for his goal. McShane - Typical performance from him, full of passion and solid defending! Typified when he was shouting and balling at the linesman in the first half because he thought they were offside, showed how much he cares. Yes Huddlestone had a very poor game, however he was only directly responsible for the third goal, and even then it was awful positioning and defending that lead to the goal. The other two goals were lucky deflections that on a different day fly over the goal, can't blame him for either.
Harper Quinn Chester Can't believe Harper isn't on everyone's list, granted he conceded three but couldn't really do much about those. He made some excellent saves tonight.
Agree about Harper. Terrific saves. That one with his feet when it looked like it had decieved him was terrific. Quinn just tops him for the effort & goal. Really deserves his place in the team at the minute. Still think he should've been played more.
Harper Quinn Elmo Macca almost had a great game but there was a couple of iffy moments - Livermore and Hudds were awful and Meyler was much better than he normally is - anyone who booed Hull City fans is a ****ing disgrace and really shouldn't attend Hull City matches if they want to support a different team
