Are these forums going to be moderated? Or is it just going to be a bunch of kids swearing like the Man Utd board.

Hah i was tempted to say "don't be such a prick" :-) of course jokingly...

Apparently, MalteseMick (who i think is the boss) wants the boards to be moderated, he was after someone to offer themselves!

Go on Gonz, I'm sure you'll be up for it eh! ;-)

I did say if he can't get no one i'd happily sit here all day modding mancs with swearwords rather than opinions!

Why should it need moderation, whats wrong with the truth?? You scouse twat!!

Lets face it some of you are murdering, lying, thieving, rat eating, bin dippers, so what! Obviously the minority are alright, but lets face it most of them moved away years ago

Lol i'd mod if it meant more of the 606ers coming on here, but i'd be too liberal and let most pass by..Fkn Manc tossers
 
I agree we need LFC moderators but the administrator should be able to the bulk of it too. Like banning persistent wums blocking seriously offensive words and so on. The problem is the 606 mods are fully paid empolyees and mod all day long, we will need a whole team of mods since it's unlikely that one or two users will be on this forum all day every day. In the meantime, MalteseMick you need to mod some of the posts and threads on this board, otherwise you won't get any users coming from 606. Since most of them, like me, are apalled with some of the language and vitriol.

I'm trying mate but the sudden growth of the forum has caught me offguard, trying to put at least 25% of my free time into my day job as well <whistle>. I agree it's out of order - so do you wish to be the moderator then?
 
I am up for the job of moderator if you wish; although I would highly suggest giving 2 or 3 people the moderator position; 15,000 people coming over from 606 potentially could see a huge job for moderators.
 
I don't really have the time, I only pop on sports forums as and when I'm free. If you want to make me one then i'll mod as an when I can, but there will need to be quite a few of us. Have you thought about a house rules page? So all mods have some sort of score card to use? Like on 606.
