Who would you say is at fault then know all.....Musty is on the other side of the world to me and he is having the same problems as the rest of us. Fans on every board have complained or given up all together...Was it happening a month or so ago ?? no it wasn't ....so who,s fault is it then. It cant be the users can it as we have not all suddenly did something at the same time to cause the problem.....Not 606 need to get there finger out and sort it or get some professional wizards to sort it for them as its been long enough now and fans are fed up and leaving and that will effect the advertisers who wont spend good money on a micky mouse outfit....
As I'm not suffering any problem at all I'm reluctant to get involved here but applying logic.... 1: If posters aren't having problems when they visit other sites then the problem must surely lie with Not606? 2: The fact it's OK for everyone one day then screwed up for many the day after points to it being a site issue. 3: Lastly, so many posters across numerous boards to have a problem. Unless they have all done something to their laptops/PCs/mobiles it points to a site issue. Or is that too simplistic?
As not everyone is suffering Dai, it may NOT be a server issue. A server load issue will affect everyone, not just a group. There has to be something that each user of the affected group have in common, thats part of fault finding, it could be a browser issue, you all may be using the samebrowser, but as none of you were good enough to answer that question it hard to rule it out. If however you had simply answered the question, and it turned out that multiple browsers are affected, then it could be ruled out, same as other issues. When it comes to routes to the server, those affected may be using one of 1and1's internal hops, and that could be the issue, which is why it is not affecting all users as we use different routes. Go look at Dragons tracert and see one of his hops time out, now if you had posted yours, and yours didn't show the same issue, it could be ruled out. Nothing know it all, its called simple fault finding, you however are telling us that its a server problem, so then mr know it all, whats wrong with the server, and why is it not affecting everyone?
Well I've cleared all my cookies and still have this problem. It is intermittent but bloody annoying. Oh and I'm using Safari as my browser so. I've now attempted to post this 10 times and it still won't let me. I'll let you know how many times it actually took when it eventually lets me post.
open your start menu, and type "cmd" and press enter once open type tracert not606.com press enter see if any of them are high numbers, or timed out
