Not sure what player they've been watching.
Modric frequently ran the show in our games, but he didn't do it in a flashy way and didn't get many goals or assists.
He did it by helping us to dominate possession, by bringing the ball forward or by putting our dangerous players like Bale, van der Vaart or Lennon into areas where they could make the killer pass.

Superb player, but a twat of a person.
    Bit like Berbatov, really.

Only 20 mins left in a CL match which they are losing and he is STILL on the bench?

    Kompany either

    A) shat his pants and ducked out the way

    or

    B) Felt the ball would go straight to Hart

I'll go with A! he messed up!

    I reckon a!
I didn't think I really cared who won but I was genuinely happy when Ronaldp scored that! Maybe I'm just a bitter Spurs fan!

Watching city lose to such a stupid goal after taking the lead in the 85th minute was like watching us at our soul crushing worse!

Well I think we all know how a result like that feels (especially being on the WRONG end of a result like that) so I have no sympathy for City.

Good to see that Modric had little to no impact on the game either <ok>

It seemed to me that Real players didn't want to pass to Modric when he came on.

I enjoyed the Great One's slide.Pity no one had crapped on that piece of grass.....

It's always good to see a player that shone at Spurs move and hold his own at a 'bigger' club but Modric didn't handle leaving in the right way so part of me doesn't like him.

  20. Modric will fail at Madrid in the same way that Keane failed at 'Pool.
