I meant they're not slaves, they can work for whom they please. They're being handsomely paid for their work by greedy people who see them as nice little earners, until they wear out. Do you work "handsomely" for your pay? Do you b*****y, nor do I. Why should Modric. Hypocrisy.
I do my job commensurate with my salary - as I hope do you. And whilst under my contract of employment, I shall continue to do so.
I'm very confused as to what this word was meant to be. You can swear on here by the way. As for your point, we're not angry simply because he wants to leave for more money, it's the way that both Chelsea and Modric have gone about it. Chelsea cannot talk to Modric without our permission yet as soon as the first bid leaks it turns out he knows exactly how much money he can get at Chelsea. Modric also said how he wants to stay at the club, wants the other top players to stay also and he signed a 6 year contract! I know a footballer's word is not worth a toss these days but that doesn't mean we should stop expecting better, then there's his teammates who he's encouraged to stay and most inexcusable of all is how happy he was to sign a 6 year deal and take the signing fee and payrise that came with it, yet he's not even remotely prepared to see out the contract or wait for Chelsea to come in with a serious offer. It's all take from Modric, he's talked the talk but when it comes down to it there's not a single instance where he's actually showed any loyalty to his employer.
I just can't see us keeping hold of him mate, I hope I'm wrong but I think he will go this month and probably on deadline day exactly like Berbatov.

That's a ridiculous comment. As Harry has alluded to, nobody held a gun to his head, and forced him to sign his contract. If your ideas were to be put into general practice, contracts would become redundant, some players would be moving every other month to get more money - clubs would be unable to plan any sort of future. and the whole game would just descend into chaos, and financial anarchy would reign.
First who the hell is Greg Stobart and secondly how on earth did he get such intimate details of a private meeting- oh wait I know Modric's advisor. But still it is not helping the situation is it?
The only word I can think of is "baloney". but that wouldn't make sense. Can i take 50:50 please Ensil?
haha, I was going to write something very similar. ...I was thinking of asking the audience, but you're attempt didn't get much reply.
