    Where can ya watch foreign football? I know Spanish is on Sky Sports and I watch Barcelona/Madrid, but never see the French, German knocking about

    Just online as far as I know. I think ESPN show a fair few German and Italian games.

    Have no interest whatsoever in Italian football though. Last weekend's results confirm why I will never have an interest in the future <laugh>

    That was a poor week but there have been some exciting games recently, especially with Inter's horrific mis-management and Napoli's incredible rise to prominence from Serie C.

    aye Napoli are a good team, speaking of which, we should stick a cheeky bid in for Cavani instead of pursuing the Magia bloke.

    I travel to france alot throughout the years and have seen maiga grow into a fantastic player, His early years in le mans were pretty good, at times i even thought he had skills just as good as drogba in the early days when he was at marseille, I personally think this would be awesome signing. Im sure if he signed for us hel easily be a 20+ goals a season striker, he also is a good winger which makes him dangerous running into the box. With our current team with maiga included id be very happy, Maiga is only maturing now which is perfect for our team. I think hel fit in great i dont know why so many toons fans are questioning this signing....rather maiga then crouch or some other rediculous player with high value, anything around 7-10M is a good price for this player. Carr is defo on the ball. I agree he also needs to scout Germany and also Russia, both leagues are gleeming with talent.

    He's apparently only one of four targets ALREADY lined up for January though and Pardew still wants to see him before a deal is finalised.

    The shortlist is a bid odd though... Maiga and the newest name in Luuk De Jong, but then also apparently has Sow and Papiss Cisse :S Who are both streets ahead of the first two.

    Id be happy with Maiga, although im not sure how he'd fit in exactly. Him and Demba up in a 4-4-2 formation?

    Sow and Cisse would be far too expensive in terms of transfer funds and wages. Not to mantion the competition for them.

    Take Boudebouz and Martin while you're there Ashley ;)
