In a small padded room? I'm beginning to think half this forum couldn't survive by themself.. and as the thread is about dying, every **** dies...So what will they do if they are first?
I think it's reasonable that newspapers show a side to celebrities that don't match with the profiles that celebrities like to present about themselves. I am a believer in free speech so I think it's right that people are allowed to say anything within the law. I also think that people on social media shouldn't be anonymous. Too many people on social media are scared of revealing who they are because they have inadequacy issues. If they had to post under their own name, or at least a name that could reveal their true self, then it may help in them growing to be more adult rather than hiding in their childlike persona.
Just gonna add cos I think it was Luv who asked, this is part of the reason why I don’t smack my kids. The moment you show them that physical violence is the way to go to resolve things, that’s when they think are conditioned to think it’s ok for their fella to hit them, or it’s ok to bang her fella one with a lamp. “Oh it never did me any harm”. Actually it probably did.
In other words, you thought about someone else, and that pulled you back from the brink. The damage suicide does to the people left behind makes it worse than murder imo. That’s not judging the person who kills themselves, because I don’t know their state of mind - that’s just looking at the impact on friends and family.
Do I think it’s sad that a 40 year old woman has taken her own life? Yes. Do I need to know her personally to justify my feelings? No. Can’t really understand how anyone can have a different outlook on this? Unless they are just trying to be the alpha male. Top tip; alpha males don’t need to try. It just happens.
You use the Sensible Party’s, and probably others, account to air the views you wouldn’t want associated with you.
Agreed. My sister in law smacks her kids a lot. She once smacked her son who turned around and hit my daughter because that’s what we do, right?
Well I was smacked as a kid a lot, so in that situation I’d have went full circle and smacked the dad (my brother) Like some sort of violent comedy sketch. I just don’t think it achieves anything, I much prefer to leave them out in the cold rain for a few hours.
It's fair game when you are exposing the hypocrisy of politicians and public figures, particularly those pontificating about conduct, lifestyle morals etc - John Major espousing getting back to basic family values when he was balls deep in Edwina Currie's personal tandoori is a typically good example ... but the CPS pursuing a case against Carloline Flack when her boyfriend wanted it dropped and also feeling they had the right to interfere in their relationship with an exclusion order is not, in my view, in the public's interest in any way shape or form... not to mention a flagrant waste of taxpayer's money.
Voluntary work, kidnapping and punching women and making furniture out of their skin to boost their self-esteem.
