Lot of legal eagles are saying they gave a 2 year ban so if they contest the verdict it will be reduced to 1 year ban.. The legal shenanigans will be fast tracked as it could potentially disrupt next seasons Champions League.. The Premier League should also be looking at the facts and act accordingly..im sure all the rival teams will be asking for some retribution regarding the success they have achieved which constitutes "Cheating"..
The parallel with Saracens in Rugby Union is a stark reminder that football still has a long way to get 'fairness'. If it is proven, which appears likely, that City cheated between 2012 and 2016 then really all they have won in that time is tainted. The Premier League should therefore strip them of titles and their Cup wins as well but we all know that won't happen. How about expulsion and starting in the National League? If there were really serious consequences then perhaps it would be effective but we all know they'll largely get away with it as any fine would be petty cash. The new rich order rules...

Wasn't ours £40 odd million with half of it being converted to share equity and the rest paid over 10 years for a 1 year breach of rules which were then changed as shown not to be workable, whereas City have been doing this for at least 4 years...….No doubt the Premier League will give them a mighty slap on the wrist.....
