We have a similar flaw, you just need to look at our time in the PL, even when we got relegated we took 4 points of Man City and were unlucky not to draw both games against Chelsea (even Drogba admitted he fluked his winner by mis-hitting his cross) but managed to get hammered by the likes of Burnley.

And he's back! Hope the hols were great for you and your family, good to have ya back <ok>

Think your post represent that the football' soon is back on this board, CAN'T WAIT!!! :)

You're absolutely right gandy, you don't get it. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's just that it's in Col's profile and what makes it him. The way I know Col he means no harm with it, just his 'signature' and all in all friendly banter.

Good luck to you too, here's to lots of (friendly) banter throughout the season <ok>

Agree Dave! Swords, yourself and others have always kept things interesting and amusing on here for people like me who don't take this Football Forum too seriously, at least not when we are talking stuff outside of football!

TLR, I for one ain't a "Fan Boy" of anyone mate, and I don't believe you will find many that are! Calling people that could well be seen as insulting and lacking respect. But never mind mate, I won't take it too serious!

<laugh> OK mate, not sure if that's all true, but nice reply all the same.

Have a good one, happen to think you're buying more sensibly that last season (which could have course been just an attempt to stay up, not a bad thing in itself).

See you comfortably half way this time out, the catalyst being a heavy defeat at Carrow Road....<whistle> (we can but hope)

Didn't you finish above them last season? Now you're hoping a heavy defeat at Carrow Road will bring you closer together in the table? Now following the logic...I don't there's many on here will disagree with that.

I'll be well happy with a point at CR. Been a hoodoo ground for us as far as I can remember, all since I was a little kid checking the scores :(

Think you'll find that the majority of us R's are very excited by things atm. It's a mix of experience and some promising talent. But still think Hughes are buying for us to stay up, only by a greater margin than last year :)

Longterm and nice to see a bit of spice ... thank you. I haven't fully understood the flexing of muscle and your need to give endorse your real life professional status ... all a bit odd. I have little interest what you do for a living and have been nothing but honest about my opinions. I respect your comments albeit widely wrong about me away from this board. You were right partially correct currently distancing me from the corporate world you work within. Its interesting to see the picture that you have painted of me however it may surprise you that my first career was in senior pharmaceutical production management... Long story short I left the corporate world because I found it to be full of hypocrites and parasites... I still hold those views ... Even with my qualifications I would not or could not return... instead they pay me now to tell them ways I can make them look good and market their goods which are all designed to make people part with their money. To echo back your comparison to me being a footballer as creative as Adel I have to say i am honoured as he is the best i have seen for many years... so who to choose for you in reply?

Safe, steady, controlled, calm even? but as it seems with another side to him capable of putting through his own net at anytime as you just have ... Yep to me you're Rob Green

I have made no secret that I thought that Swords was/is a good energy and a great poster. Mate I have been in a straight jacket for 12 bloody weeks in my past as the corporate world ate me!. I am hoping that i am marginalised in fact I pride myself that maybe i am. The bloke from Leeds i don't know him but he has spoken a lot of sense when i have read his posts ... I did not agree with some of his recent posts re Imaz ... Do not also put me in the same box as Swords please as even he knows that I know what he is up too at times and that is not all the time as people think. Glad to see you expressing yourself with your opinions its healthy and I agree you did well debating with Swords on that topic. Has Swords gone? banned? ... he will be back

Well now you see....this is what happens when you come on another team's board (nothing wrong with that at all!) and don't know the history of posters. It's a standing joke that I always make this statement whenever Norwich are mentioned. Quite a few of your fellow fans realise this and join in with the banter!!
You really should think and check out some facts before you come on here calling people muppets. If you can't do that, then do feel free to not bother coming on our board.
    Many thanks!!

At least Norwich will be certs for the drop this time around
Then they can spend all day on the Ipswich board talking about farmyards, budgies, tractors, carrots and the late Bernard Matthews
