we had moderation when the site was first founded, it was extremely lax and almost nothing was ever moderated. new members arrived and suggested that we should tone the content down a bit in order to attract new members. most of the membership weren't happy but didn't see any reason not to stand up for free speech. the mods became obsessed with their power(yes they really were that pathetic) and the original members decided enough was enough. Rocket and Pope instigated the John Higgins incident. The get along gang left and the site struggled on as a ghost town until all the bbc decided 606 was gash. The Higgins incident was directly caused by over moderation.
