Completed my walk yesterday, 100 miles in a week as targetted. Absolutely fantastic support from you guys, some of the posters on here have really helped keep my head up when the going was hard (like when I sprung a leak in my packa mack). I'll leave this thread up should people wish to make any last minute donations but as of yesterday I'm done, finito. Going to Whitby tomorrow as a little treat to myself, I'll enjoy a bit sit down on the support's bus!
Really well done, a great achievement. On the subject of the mobility scooter, just be careful which one you choose. There is an old lady in our village that has one that must have some form of jet propulsion. She drives the damn thing on the footpath too! I have seen a few near misses lol as she don't slow down for nobody. So just take care you don't scoot off in to the distance, never to be seen again. Just had a thought, the battery would run out after about fifteen miles and then you would have to walk back carrying the damn thing. Oh well, back to the drawing board MF
