Does anyone know anywhere that shows UFC live & serves beer? It seems to me i always end up sat at home waiting for the event... drinking to much and falling asleep before last two fights. A pub/casino with fellow fight fans would be a quality night. I have heard that Rileys have 24 hour bar and big screens but aint got one near me. It really is the one thing that gets me when the yanks are all talking about going to a bar to watch it.
i will travel to a venue for next big event (carwin - JDS) to watch with fellow fight fans... but where?
MMA wasnt heard of 5 years ago, its huge now and the fact that films are being made regarding MMA and cage fighting says it all, you can purchase gloves, UFC mouth guard etc in Argos, new film Warrior due out soon with Tom Hardy, looks Mint, MMA will be massive and has the potential to be bigger than boxing..
MMA is already more interesting than boxing. It combines the blood lust of your standard drunken males with a big of pagentry and showmanship. Fighting in a cage is a primal as it gets, the same way you have to stare if a fight breaks out in a pub. MMA could only be better if they had sexy women holding up the round number cards.... what? they do? Brilliant!
It wouldn't be on in bars as it's on untill 5 in the morning and bars usually shut earlier compared to nightclubs. Best thing to do is get some mates round and get beers in and watch it on ESPN. It's alot cheaper too.
