Stop all non football related activity when City are at home. Beam the match in to all houses and make them watch it. Especially the rugby lot. Simples.
I’m guessing their contribution would come from their budget, as a joint venture. It’s not for Tan to comment on their budgets. If the SMC covered it then I would think it, indirectly, all comes out of City’s budget.
One minor improvement y is to shut Walton St post game to any in-going traffic , crazy . They shut streets next to ground all over , Bramall Lane , Burnley etc
Of course you would Assem. Why do you think shops and businesses spend money re-designing and fitting out premises that they don't own? It's an investment to increase sales and attract more business which they can also write off against tax.
Maybe the club are trying to be on board with the council, patently thats something thats not just tenable. I do feel certain that ERYCC would jump through hoops to get a partnership going with the club, job creation, local construction etc that wouldn't take XXX time going back and forward and would likely own land that they feel would be ripe for such a development.
I think he's stretching the truth about it to indicate how much money they are spending on other things. He was implying spending money on the pitch means they can't spend as much on players when they can, the pitch doesn't impact FFP.
If East Riding want to support a football club they should support one of their own ones Why isn’t it tenable for the club to get on board with Hull City Council by the way?
Probably the heavy rain which caused flooding across the country and also the cold snap that followed may have had something to do with the state of the pitch.
Surely there's some way to put covers over the pitch with heating lights to keep the grass growing? Rain is hardly a new concept to try to protect the pitch against.
You mean like Hull City based in the unitary authority of Hull situated in the East Riding Of Yorkshire?
Heat lamps have been a thing for years now. You don't need the actual sun to help encourage growth of the grass, so not sure I buy that excuse.
I know. It was response to someone saying it was because of something that has affected others but not caused them the same problems. Other stadiums have higher stands restricting the amount of sunlight on the pitch.
