MKM development update…

I can’t believe they are going to let rugby to be played on that on Sunday, when you lay turf at home it’s weeks before you can use it properly never mind playing on it

 

Maybe they think them rolling about on it after every tackle will bed it in?

 

Even though I don't follow RL that closely. I have it on good authority that Hull FC don't tackle..That's being one of the key problems.

Anybody know whats different about this pitch and why it will fair better? It's not like the pitch hasn't been good in the past, it just never holds up well.

 

Not forgetting to minimize the presence of densely packed silly kates or clay pigeons ?

 

And it will be watched by two men and a dog.
Why couldn't they borrow Craven Park for a couple of weeks to give it time to bed down?

-> What's the depth of the roots?
A measure of how far into the soil the grass system goes. Typically expressed in inches or cm's

-> And the tensile strength of the blades of grass
How capable they are of being stretched or taking tension (ooh, there's an opening ....)

 

I’m sure they’ve done all that before too

 

I suspect theres been plenty of 'skimming off the top' at this club over the years...
