That's the only reason the move ever went ahead in the first place. The original Wimbledon were on their knees and the owners were not willing to put in any more money, they could have quite easily have let them go into liquidation and set up a new club in Milton Keynes. However its much easier to sell a football league club to new fans than it is an 8th or 9th tier club, had they not been allowed to stay in the league the move in all probability would not have happened.
Never had the pleasure, I was still heading into the West End for my nights out, though I did end up in some ****-hole club in Streatham a couple of times, I can't remember why.

They'd be wrong. Hull United have started from the bottom.and are hoping to work their way up slowly. They bought Dene Park from Hall Road Rangers who were free to refuse it if they wanted. There isn't a group of fans who've lost their team and everyone wins.
