Very disappointing game. Lucky to scrape the draw but I can't see how we're going to cope without Barton traore and faurlin. looked a bad injury
I remember that when we drew the away leg with Vauxhall Motors I was keeping up my spirits with the thought that at least we were in the hat for the next round! Fat lot of good that did!
We were missing some of our main players and drawing with 10 men against an ambitious League 1 team is just fine with me - didn´t spoil the rest of the day at least. I feel sorry for the one´s that want to get rid of NW every time things aren´t running smoothly. Let´s wait for the important games against Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn...
I guess at least we got a draw (Wigan lost at Swindon) - sounded like we got a really lucky goal from a defensive mix up, but redemption for Helguson. Really hope Faurlin injury not as bad as it sounds. Barton can at least chalk up a 2nd game of his 3 match ban. Hope we take them apart in the replay at Loftus Road.
We are all disappointed, especially with Norwich and Swansea winning - again. I do think, however, it would be wise to wait until a couple more league games. Strange things happen in the FA cup. Just a couple weeks more patience before TF will have to act, and quickly. You all know how fickle we are. Beating MK Dons, a draw at Newcastle and one home win, and some will be talking Europe again!!
Butthuber, we had 11 men for 80 mins and, from what I understand, were completely outplayed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Warnocker, but please don't tell me this was a good, or even OK, result.
I am not one who turns on NW after one game or thinks we will win the league if we once. I am someone who expects players to do their job to the best of their ability and today the commentary struggled to think of anyone who would get a 7/10, Derry they said only warranted a 6 maximum. The fact they are playing poorly and not trying to prove they should be at QPR as transfer window is open, is more worrying than the result. I was hoping for a good performance to rebuild confidence...
Ok result. Since I only listened to the radio I cannot comment on the performance BUT we did not lose and that is what counts at the moment.
Only three regulars started today. MK had scored 69 times already this season, only one defeat at home. We're trailing with only 10 men, got an equaliser and a replay. Wich hopefully means that Barton only has to miss one league game out of his suspension. As Goldhawk says, everything is relative. All in all how this game panned out, i'm happy with a draw.
