Mate, thinking this league 1 team of ours with its squad full of league 1 players should be steam rolling over every team in the division is akin to the MAG’s thinking they’re a top 3 premier league team. It’s delusional.

Todays result on its own isn't disappointing for me. Our home form is a different matter.

You had us down for a defeat so you clearly didn't think we would win. Did you want us to win?

Agreed. We dont back up away points with home wins. Our home record is terrible.

.... and that's the most disappointing thing. We may not have the best individuals, but we do have the best squad, and yet we consistently fail to get any sort of a run together. Jones will definitely improve us, and Vokins will improve as he gets used to the demands of this League.

My first 11 would be: Matthews, Sanderson, Wright, Willis, Hume, Scowen, O'Nien, Jones, Gooch, O'Brien, Wyke.

We've got Flanagan and Younger as CB Cover. McLaughlin and Vokins as Full back cover. Winchester and Neil in the centre, with Leadbitter to slow the game down when needed in a 3. McGeady has been contributing offensively, and is a more than useful player, but our full back is being left exposed too often, which is costing us. Gooch will work up and down the left flank and provide that support. Stewart can be used to cover Wyke or O'Brien.

No squad in this league has that level of cover, but consistency comes from playing a settled side, and the one thing we are lacking now is consistency.

Just noticed that. You would think if someone predicted we'd lose then a draw away from home would be a good result :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The old regime you mentioned has gone.
We are still in the same division and trying hard to improve.
Rome wasn't built in a day.

Yes it's disappointing drawing with them but we aren't going to win every game same as every other team.
Let's see how it pans out,

No, for thinking we should brush them aside. That is arrogant to the extreme and shows little respect for MK Dons.

We were poor at times, especially for their first goal for instance. In the 2nd half we were the better side, after the first 10 mins,... we could/should have won it with better finishing.

I wonder what KLD thought of it.

I reckon Grigg will score goals for them. They look like a team that want to find the ball in between centre halves and who will love his clever little movement in the middle of the goal.
