You moving to Carcasonne Smug? Went with our lass just before Christmas for the weekend.... hotel across the river (Hilton) was decent. Couple of canny restaurants around too,,, will definitely go back...

Canterbury is around 25 minutes from me in the car.

I live on the isle of Sheppey, just off sittingbourne.

 

Aye know it well, used to live in Gillingham. If I was going I’d have given you a lift, although I’d have preferred a few beers on the way up! Takes me longer than 25 minutes to get to Sheppey mind!!

In the days before I moved back to the blessed NE, i had to go to Milton Keynes now and again... it is the only place worse than the new Washington up here, in that it has even more roads/dual carriage ways going nowhere than here!

Was hoping to make the Tranmere game as I work up in Yorkshire during the week so it affords me a few midweek games either away or home. I really fancied MK dons as Ive not done that ground yet... If our away game to Bristol gets moved to a weekend more than happy to drive you over for that as Ill probably be going from Canterbury.
