    I don't mind losing out on Mitrovic and Austin. It would be nice to have both of course. As long as this is not used an excuse for not signing anyone. I'm sure we have more than 2 strikers on our list.

    Yes ..and No...I love the optimism on here but there seems be the need for an injection of realism!! The heirachy have continually fed us a diet of lies and subterfuge during the past 8 years. If anyone believes what they say now... well.. they must be mental!! Sorry... I would love for all these stories to be true... but they will not be!...
    I am so sorry, but.. We will sign nobody of any worth and we will struggle like fcuk next season as per usual!! If this does not happen I WILL SHOW MY ARSE IN FENWICKS WINDOW..!!!! But this will not happen cos I know I am right, we are being shafted yet again!!!

    The next flight from Brugge to Newcastle is 21:45, i would have thought that if an agreement had been met he still would have trained, unless, he travelled yesterday after training

    Anderlect is closest to Brussels so that would be the airport of choice and there are usually around 3 flights a day.

    I just think for the club to hold an open training session and two players not to be there is abnormal. Something is happening and i reckon tehre could be an announcement by monday to just get this whole debarcle settled!

    If these don't come off I'm lbaming you for upseting the universal balance of things

    Lets hope there are some legs in this but the last few days/week has been an emotional roller-coaster in terms of it being on then off then on then off and then waiting on Mitrovic and then his father and now waiting on potentially getting Mbemba as well. Just going to stick my headin the sand until September 1st and see whats happened then hahaha

    I also heard after the rejected chelsea 20m john stones bid, that they were willing to let Zouma come on loan to Newcastle. Imagine going into work on a monday morning with Mitrovic, Austin, Mbemba and Zouma Signed! I can tell you i wont be walking, id be doing a jolly little skip!
