    Apparently Porto, now they have some cash, have bid 18million Euros for Mitrovic this evening. Game over for the procrastinators.

    Now NUFC can focus their haggling ways on Austin alone, secure in the knowledge that Villa will soon steam in with the money Liverpool are set to waste on Benteke. Beautiful.

    Not sure we can blame the club for procrastinating on this deal. They petted the club twelve million which was accepted, and doubled mitrovic's salary, which apparently was also acceptable. Guess he just fancies Porto more, which you can understand surely?

    Gossip pages now saying that Chelsea are interested in him?
    Wonder what Daddy will feel about that.
    As the days went by and nothing happened it was looking less and less likely tbh.
    It seems we offered a fair price and discussed personal terms, but they were holding out for something better supposedly.
    That makes sense as he would have been signed up by now if he and his advisers had wanted it.
    Time to move On whilst we still can.

    We will lose out on Mitrovic and Austin will refuse to move north... Just you see... I will be correct yet again. Start the season with the Bigamist and Mr Useless up front!! For the sake of a few quid of transfer fees and a few thousand on wages per week, in an effort to balance the books at end of year, fatty penfold will completely fcuk our season over yet again.

    Yeah I don't think you can blame the club or the respective players if they end up else where, sounds like we agreed a fee for Mitrovic and offered a good contract but they are holding out for a European club and if Chelsea are in for Austin and he's happy to sit on the bench and collect his pay check then fair play to him, we all know he wants to be based down south for family reasons so can't really argue that case either,,,
