  1. You're right about Cardiff. Out of the four games we had prior to today, Cardiff was/is the pressure game. We are the underdogs in the others.

I said I would be happy to get three points from the three away games, especially if Spurs didn't get a point against us. For me, winning today means we have two "bonus" opportunities against Chelsea and Man City IF we get the expected three points against Cardiff.

What we musn't do is get complacent and think we can roll Cardiff just by turning up.

This is the danger, we have seen it to many times, a brilliant performance against a top side then tip up and get done by relegation candidates.

  4. Exactly. Its is a must win and has pressure but we need to earn the points <ok>

All I can say is that we've only lost to Southampton at home this season. Normally I'd 100% agree, and obviously it's still relevant but I don't think this team has that attitude. Beating the teams at the bottom is something we've been very good at this season, especially at home so I'm less worried that we'll have that attitude than maybe say 3 or 4 years ago.

Don't disagree. I'm not saying we will make that mistake again- just pointing out that we need to guard against it, and not get caught out by the euphoria over today's win.

The hull result showed we still suffer from complacency, i know it wasn't at home but still. Numerous times over the years we have put in a good performance then got tonked by a "lesser" side. I'm hoping BR mentality approach will negate this, as it is something we have really suffered from in recent years.

i've become stupidly exited about the blue dot being farther away than the yellow dot. the bigger the distance the more exited i get. I'm not altogether to sure what the graph represents, but i'm happy with getting a near centimetre away.

  10. Maybe Spurs were a little complacent today after seeing the injuries we'd picked up...?

Good job we weren't though, they have a fair few injuries themselves.

    Delighted with the win <ok>

MOTD" with the inimitable... lawro and <laugh> mills ripped spurs apart. I eman it was not so hard when they played a CM at CB and he was behind the line playing everyone onside all the time.

  20. That's not the blue line <doh>

It is for the dotted line to show what we are on target for at present.
