How can be lucky?

Var was brought in to make sure tge refs are getting big decisions in the big games correct.

Must not have been a red card offence.
He got a yellow, but another ref could easily have seen it as a red as it was clearly a retaliatory foul, and 5 seconds after the whistle had been blown.

VAR disagrees and is god now.

Soz.
It didn't get relayed to VAR as the ref had made a decision on the pitch, and cards for fouls are arbitrarily decided by the ref, not VAR. you seem to be confusing it with black and white decsions like being offside, even if only fractionally.

whether a card is red or yellow is not up to VAR, it's up to the referee, it's up to VAR to point out an offence the ref has missed and for the referee to interpret and decide on the punishment.
That extended VAR period to check to see if the ball had made contact on the way thorugh seems to have affected you somewhat.

Mate this whole exchange was a piss take, I didn't even watch the game <laugh>

Oh, I got that this was a hang-over from the off-side but sometimes the urge to explain why someone is wrong is too much.

Offside?

And yeah I get that, which is why I'll enjoy becoming more and more tedious in pointing out its flaws as time goes on.
