Yep, also there's only 5 points between 9th and 17th just above the drop zone. I think your early season form should mean that you're safe and the fact that Swansea and West brom look destined for the drop. But it's a bit nerve wracking down there. I think the 3rd team to go down with be between Southampton and Stoke though, so you should be okay.

Would have thought that Watford would have tried to patch that up. He's a decent manager and had his head turned, but that surely is going to be the case for any manager doing well at a smaller club ?

I was at the game, Pix.

Just back.

It was unfortunate that we conceded an own goal. The entire game was quite tight. Saints, as usual, managed to up their game against us (as most sides do), because they'll go back to being utter ****e next game.

That said, we were very lax during too many periods of that match, even allowing for the fact that it pissed down for the entire match.

Sissoko and Dire had indifferent games, and we seemed very disjointed throughout the rest of the team.

It keeps us a game ahead of Arsenal, which suits me; but I would have liked to have drawn level with 'Pool.
