It got to hurt them that the Spuds look like they will be taking Chelsea's place in the CL next season.

Hoddle looks gutted that his beloved Chelsea are out of Europe for at least a season.

Chelsea have certainly let English football down in recent years. Our coefficient, which is extremely important to some people, will suffer because of their crap performances in the CL.

I can't speak for the Gooners but I personally haven't talked up United's performances in Europe over the past few years. I think delusional bragging has been monopolised by the Chavs.
 
True, Stan. The Chav lads were rather prone to give it large before their spectacular decline, particularly in the days when The Smug One first came back. I would imagine that the similarly spectular decline of the Chav board has been down, in large part, to the utter sense of shame and embarrassment that a lot of the Chav lads feel. Ozzie Glitter, for one, is far more subdued that he used to be, and some of the nastier posters appear to have disappeared altogether. What happened to the ultra-violent tosser, Robbie?

I think he was the first of the Mitchell brothers to be boycotted by the south London hookers so he had to move to Bangkok to get some.

Don't you get more points for reaching the last 16 than getting knocked out in the group stages like United. Or have they changed the rules? ;)
