We lacked on-the-pitch leadership on Saturday, which Barton would have provided. We have indeed missed him and would have picked up some points from the last three games with him in the side.

Barton is no leader my friends
He is a bloody good trier and covers some turf but ...

He isn't a very good footballer imo
He makes some daft decisions
He cannot take a corner

I have no idea if we would of got closer in our last three games
I believe however he would of got booked ... Imo good players do not pick up that amount of bookings

We needed passion and commitment on Saturday and had none. Barton would have brought that to the team my friend. How much passion or commitment did we get from SWP?
