Curbishley, like some bloke called Pardew, has a record of keeping clubs in the Premiership. Just thought I'd point that out.
Well things have just got worse As Swansea have beaten Everton today. There is a gap now and unless we can get a PL striker we are going down.
We have gambled and lost. McClaren thinks we will be fine if we keep playing like yesterday. The 'board' will take him at his word now. When we go down it will be his fault as he said we have enough. He's a **** manager and we are in big trouble.
Another relegation rival*, Chelsea, are also winning. *I just like to say this even though I don't believe it despite how deluded I appear to be.
We are utter ****e. Having spent 70m McClaren doesn't have the excuses of his predecessors. We have frittered 70m and got nowhere near solving the issues we have. Watford looked a side lacking confidence, a little bit there for the taking at present. Bound to be a bit fragile confidence wise after their recent run. The offside decision is one thing, but our general play is crap. In the end the better team won. I can't see how we get out of this regardless who we sign - I'm not sure McClaren has a clue how to manage a side. He might be a good coach but it ends there.
Is Carver still available? If we are going to go down I would rather do it while at least being royally entertained by the clown prince of coaches.
