You really do open yourself to ridicule from both arsenal fans and opposition with comments like this.I still maintain that you could manage and run the club perfectly and still not win for 100 years, if you didn't get any breaks.

You are all still so certain that if everyone at Arsenal did everything right we would win, even if we knew what that was.

Chill Out. These boards are for debating opinions. Quite with the vitriol.Embarrassing post. You should be ashamed of yourself if you actually think this.

To some extent Toledo isn't wrong.
Your claiming he should be ashamed of himself for having a differing opinion to yourself. Get a grip.Vitriol? Don't be such a wuss.
I'm sorry, but I stick by what I said. If he genuinely thinks that way, it is embarrassing. You want to know why the fans' expectations have eroded over the years? Why we struggle to create a winning mentality throughout the team? Why we lack ambition? Because people who work at the club seem to have the exact same mindset and it has been reflected in their actions over the years.
Thats not what he said. He said it's possible to not win things even when your doing all the right things as manager. It's a bit of a straw man scenario but its hard to disprove. No - he is wrong.
To say it's just purely coincidental rotten luck that we've struggled to win in Europe or the Premier League is a massive cop out and absolves Wenger and the board of pretty much all responsibility.
To then claim that if we did things perfectly, we still may not win anything for 100 years, is just as ludicrous. If that's the case, then what's the point in trying? Why bother to make efforts to improve at all?
Look at what he's saying logically and you will understand it was a ridiculous post, so I'm not sure why you're defending him.

I think the reason some us get actually quite genuinely wound up and annoyed is that the accepting and forgiving attitudes towards Wenger from some on here (coupled with the embarrassing posts claiming that bad luck is what's stopped us winning the big ones) are those same (lack of) qualities we presume are also found in our weak and accepting board members as well as Wenger.Chill Out. It would be boring on here if we all had the same opinions.

Look this is the way it is. If you go to games you would see a good 50% of the crowd is still pro-Wenger.I think the reason some us get actually quite genuinely wound up and annoyed is that the accepting and forgiving attitudes towards Wenger from some on here (coupled with the embarrassing posts claiming that bad luck is what's stopped us winning the big ones) are those same (lack of) qualities we presume are also found in our weak and accepting board members as well as Wenger.
You just revived a dead thread to say it's tedious??This thread has grown tedious...you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

In the words of Manuel...... Que?My hee-larious 'ashamed' joke (and I use that term loosely) has fallen at the first hurdle with the boards very own Mr Sunshine![]()
