    Thats 6 big points we have just dropped through a total lack of energy and positive play. Very frustrating. We have gone from the team that scores in every game to the team that never looks like scoring.

    They’ve missed:

    1, They’re a team with good physicality;
    2, We didn’t take good care of the football;
    3, We showed them too much respect; and
    4, I think Beth’s pissed.

    We seem to be out of synchronization.

    We have both individual poor performances as well as the team not “clicking together” with poor understanding/communication.

    Our passing is not accurate and we are not fluid. We do not create chances, thus goals.

    I have no idea why it has suddenly now occurred, but MW need to make some serious changes and have strong words with the team.

    It is a reality check that we will not get the 2nd direct promotion position. We need to stay calm and secure the play-offs, plus enter them in-form and with confidence.

    Alternatively, we need to go through another step(s) of “evolution” (season) to be a more robust polished article?

    Perhaps it will ensure that we try something different?

    We have a squad plus junior players. Perhaps we can introduce some hunger, energy and something different.

    It may be an “opportunity”?

    It would have been my selection.

    MW and his team work with the players and he needs to understand why they misfired.

    It’s a poor run of games and we seem to have lost our mojo for sure.

    Every team has runs of differing quality through the season, we seem to be having ours right now.

    One of the endearing qualities of this team has been their unity and spirit - it’s being tested but they can pull themselves out of it. The likes of Dickie, Austin, Adomah, Wallace and Johanssen have to really step up and pull the rest of this (young) team out of this slump and back into a winning/positive state. There’s no doubt they are capable, they’ve proven that already.

    Back on the positive winning bus please Rrrrrrsss team and management.

    Not mine, maybe he should listen to me for once and drop Johansen for Amos ! If he only gives the ball away 15 times it will be an improvement. And start Austin for the first 60 mins. McCallum has to start if 80% fit, and maybe play Adomah higher up the pitch, we simply have no pace going forward.

    2 positives Marshall, who kept it to 0-0 1st half, and Field tackling and fighting in front of the back 3.

    The movement up top is sluggish to say the least. None of our strikers have that pace to stretch defences and move them around. I watched Amos as he came on, a pass to to the right and he sprinted forwards for a return (which he never got). To me that one scenario summed up exactly whats been missing in our play. We pass it and move still but the movement is sideways or backwards to return the ball. It takes us nowhere and enables the opposition to get in shape.

    We had too many of the players were key for us throughout 2021 and have done most to get us to 4th, way off form last night for fitness reason, too little football at Afcon perhaps in Chair's case, or some reasons I don't know. But when Wlillock, Chair, Dykes, Albert, Stefan, Wallace as long as he lasted, and Dickie are below their best or way below in some cases, we aren't going to win games. Most of those in the Squad who didnt start yesterday weren't starting because with the exceptions of Dieng and Austin, arguably Gray and Amos, they haven't yet showed they are good enough to be competing for promotion to the PL. So my thinking is Warburton and his coaches have to get these key players back on form and quick. Looks like we play 2 games a week for the rest of the month through to Blackburn so no easy task. Dickie will be out suspended for 2 games I think so hope Sanderson is well ready. Wallace probably will be out too, so Moses or McCallum when fully fit again will be needed at their best.

    A formation change for a game or 2 to make us less predictable to the Opposition may be something Warburton will try.

    Playing Amos instead of Johansen would have still left the midfield wide open.

    I know formations aren't everything, but I would like to see a change as I suspect teams have sussed us out.
    With everyone available I think I'd try 4-3-3.

    Dieng
    Sanderson Dickie Dunne McCallum
    Hendrick Field
    Willock
    Albert Austin Chair

    This could be tweaked to only have Field holding and Amos and Willock ahead of him.

    Yeah it is to be fair. Totally agree. What i see is a lack of intensity and players getting around the pitch. He said both those things hence my comment about Amos. As soon as he came on, it was pass and move forward.
