Whitejock - Warnock has had a year. In that period he has undoubtedly taken the team backwards. Yes, the players have a responsibility but the manager has a responsibility to put together a team that plays to its strengths. We are playing absolutely awful football and the players seem totally clueless and unprepared. He has brought in some awful players (admittedly with scant resources) and constantly picks the wrong team. Get this dinosaur out of the club before he takes us down.
We had just lost Howson when Warnock took over so were always likely to deteriorate last season. This summer we have lost Snodgrass and due to Bates we now have the smallest squad in the Championship (as far as i'm aware). I didn't expect any improvement, because the way the club is run doesn't support a successful football team, which is why i'd have stuck with Grayson as he's Leeds so always gave 100% no matter how poor the circumstances and is an improving manager, who given resources could have taken this club far. When the time comes and we have new owners, selecting the appropriate manager won't be an easy task.
Sorry, disagree. Yes, football is crap atm, but I really don't believe it's all Warnock's fault. There is a load of mitigation surrounding this that people choose to ignore when it suits them. As I said earlier, if the players can't even do the basics right, is that the fault of Warnock?
So the driver of the Millwall Express deserves a bonus. Not only did he kick off a passenger for attemptin to remove some lunch from a drunken passenger from Deptford, he also provided dark glasses for his co-drivers so they wouldn't seen any nastiness going on in the box junction as the Millwall Express passed through. Heyho, next time I get on the Millwall Express, I'll make sure its being driven by a Transpennine driver with better eyesight. At least he'll ensure we avoid any points failures!!!!!
Our finishing was poor, and you missed your injured players to be fair... But the old saying win ugly comes to mind and that's what we did , Leeds didn't offer much and our scoring boots were not on... Love the same old moaning from Diouf and Warnock as per usuall .
For those who want Warnock out and think he's the problem, answer me this. Who do you want him replaced with? Given the new man will have zero resources, what do you expect him to achieve?
And this is exactly the same scenario as it was with Grayson, who should never have had the bullet in the first place.
Us, Palace, Watford, Charlton, Huddersfield & Burnley all have managers with less money to spend than Warnock has had this season - and we are all above you
Really? do you have the figures for that. Maybe we should have collected the coins that were being thrown on the pitch lol
That was the plan mate - we thought if we put a few coins on the pitch all the tight Northeners would go for them instead of our goalkeeper .That said, Fordey would have enjoyed a Leeds assault of any sort today = I'm sure he fell asleep a few times today
Varney and Warnock copped some stick though
I think you'll find that anything thrown by Millwall fans was only returning the objects that Leeds fans had kindly "lent" them.
