Óscar Steven Zambrano Preciado is a 21-year-old Ecuadorian defensive midfielder, born on 20 April 2004 in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. He came up through youth systems at Colorados SC, América de Quito, and especially L.D.U. Quito, where he broke into the first team. He also had a loan spell at Hull City in England’s Championship in the 2024-25 season, making eight appearances and scoring once before a doping suspension interrupted his development. Just before Joseph scored his goals I was cursing him since everytime he got the ball he passed it to one of the Millwall players. Then he nicely shut me up and stuck 2 in the back of the net by getting himself in the right place at the right time. Watch out Ollie, Kyle is gunning for your spot. Well done Kyle. He deserves all the accolades given the hard work he does all over the pitch.

He is a crap ref, and has been very bad for us before. However, last one or two games he's reffed for us his bad decisions have generally helped or at least not hindered us.
There was an incident close to the end when Ndala was brought down when clean through, the ref looked at his lino who wasn't flagging, then gave a free kick to them and indicated it was for offside. Bizarre.

The celebration clip, posted earlier, shows Oli jumped on by Miller and Belloumi. Good to see his calfs ok then, and also good to see Oli with Kyle Joseph. Clearly chuffed to bits for him and pushing him out to take the first cheers from the fans.

It will be a decision.
How do you drop a player who's scored two good goals and is playing well, in the role hes been given to do.

Don't think you'd see Mo Salah that happy for the new Liverpool strikers with the prospect of another game on the sidelines.

That’s a huge stretch.

The right-back position, regardless of which of them has played in it, has been a concern all season.
Not really - yes he's had a couple of stinkers (like all the players have) but generally his forms been good.

For me the defensive midfield position and our two center backs positioning on crosses has been a far bigger concern so far this season then the right back.

Yes but he was buzzing at the end. Perhaps the most enthused of all the players with the win, it seemed.

It wasn't a criticism more an observation about how we're so use to home putting in perfect cross after perfect cross.

As someone else pointed out he had more of a traditional left back game in defending.

Usually a defender being quiet is a good thing as it means they are doing their job

Some of these opposition fans do make me giggle. When Boro smashed us, there was no argument, we were crap. Likes of Stoke and Millwall all they do is moan about the ref etc etc.

I’ve often thought about this. Of course, we have some right dickheads attached to the club on social media, for example, but in terms of whinging/crying after a defeat, I think we take it well.

We lose: we typically look within ourselves and direct blame at ourselves.

Stoke/Brum/Millwall lose – all toys exit pram.

Interestingly, and not that it means much per se, I see our response to defeat as being more typically English than theirs; ours being stoic and inward‑looking.
