What a good half, just need a 3rd, Belloumi and Joseph excellent.
Great half. I’m just mindful that Preston were 2-0 up at halftime at the MKM and cruising and we got back into that game. Don’t want to give Millwall an inch to get back into this game. We could’ve scored as many as Boro did in that first half.
They’re really struggling in the middle with no central midfielders on the pitch
Crooks having a much better game than he’s had for a long time too. Amir looking lively and getting himself involved. Slater showing his dip in form was just that and back to being an absolute boss. Think this is the first time I can think of our midfield has looked a properly functional unit in both defence and offence.
Excellent half once we settled down. Millwall no answer to the quick breaks, especially from Belloumi, and we still have Mcburnie on the bench. Great stuff.
To be fair, I didn’t realise they have no fit centre mids. They’ve got a right winger and left wingback playing in midfield.
Wonder why most of City fans are in lower tier? They normally put them in upper tier and leave lower tier empty unless there is a huge following. More City fans in lower tier than upper which is three quarters empty. Seems strange. Good following though.
Just watching the highlights and if Balloumi had slid it into Millar instead of shooting we’d be 3 up.
Think that’s Joseph matching Pedro’s total for last season.
