I'll never get why that's a red, if there's no player there its not a red...

Its not a tackle, its an attempt to control the ball. Oscar couldn't even see the player, if he put his head there, it'll get hit.

Same as if they both try and head the ball, should it be a red if one heads the other instead of the ball?

Never in a million years a red card, it's dangerous but isn't reckless and intentional and to be a straight red it has to. The players come from out his line of sight.

Think it probably could be considered reckless, still a little unfortunate though.

Decent first half IMO, we looked better organised, kept them at arm's length for the most part. Pity Oscar getting sent off, but no argument with it. Going to be a tough 2nd half, can we see it out?
 
on the plus side, the grimsby defender we allegedly want to buy has two assists and a goal by half time.
