I finally get the damn Red button game to come on, at about 72 mins, only to watch AW miss 2 absolute sitters
Who wants to bet we concede late now and pay for those misses
Turned out to be offside anyway although he didn’t know that!!I finally get the damn Red button game to come on, at about 72 mins, only to watch AW miss 2 absolute sittersWho wants to bet we concede late now and pay for those misses
Better side? Millwall won every loose ball, City showed little fight, determination or composure!Full time 0-0.. we did ok and looked the better side.. more assured with Akinson in the side.. failed to take our chances other end.. we just lacked that edge.. but a point well deserved imo..
I thought we did ok, we had as many chances, we defended much better compared to previous games.. Even the Millwall commentators said we were much the better side and would be disappointed with less than a point..Better side? Think I would have taken Semenyo off at HT for Wells who looked up for it when he came on..Would have taken a draw before kick off.
If those strikers were full of confidence we would have been out of sight.
Semenyo is half the player he was.
Weimann been playing out of position for so long don’t know where the net is now.
Should have won that with the better chances.

Semenyo worked better in the second half with Wells.Great minds think alike exactly what was required.Semenyo needs to put his big boy pants on at present he looks a little boy lost.
Agree, seems to be a confidence player, needs game time to improve his touch and regain confidence. Maybe start him with Wells for a while, this would also give Conway a bit of a break and sharpen him up also, bring Conway on as an impact sub for a while.I think Semenyo just needs some game time to get his match sharpness back. He has had precious little this season. If we want to see the AS of last season we may need to accept a few hit and miss performances from him to get there.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Semenyo, especially when in form...I think it is a confidence thing with him, but also at times I do see him playing too deep... I think he used to scare defenders, but I think they now know what to expect...plus his shooting is like when he was looking for his first goal..very rash.. maybe trying too hard..Semenyo worked better in the second half with Wells.
People forget Semenyo’s strength and that is he scares the **** out of defenders as they, us (and even Semenyo) don’t know what he’s going to do. He’s one of those players that takes defenders out of the game meaning they’ve got to put an extra player back creating more space. He also draws fouls on him.
Can’t remember who we played got a feeling it was Millwall as well at home. Semenyo started looked **** so we took him off and all of a sudden they didn’t have to worry about him and changed players and came at us and beat us.
