It’s worrying that when our defence turns up our forward line didn’t…
I only saw the last 20 mins due to tech issues, but we were the better side from what I saw, but 2 big big chances missed by AW

Full time 0-0.. we did ok and looked the better side.. more assured with Akinson in the side.. failed to take our chances other end.. we just lacked that edge.. but a point well deserved imo..

Better side? Millwall won every loose ball, City showed little fight, determination or composure!

Would have taken a draw before kick off.
If those strikers were full of confidence we would have been out of sight.
Semenyo is half the player he was.
Weimann been playing out of position for so long don’t know where the net is now.
Should have won that with the better chances.

I thought we did ok, we had as many chances, we defended much better compared to previous games.. Even the Millwall commentators said we were much the better side and would be disappointed with less than a point..

Think I would have taken Semenyo off at HT for Wells who looked up for it when he came on..

Great minds think alike exactly what was required.Semenyo needs to put his big boy pants on at present he looks a little boy lost.
Semenyo worked better in the second half with Wells.
People forget Semenyo’s strength and that is he scares the **** out of defenders as they, us (and even Semenyo) don’t know what he’s going to do. He’s one of those players that takes defenders out of the game meaning they’ve got to put an extra player back creating more space. He also draws fouls on him.
Can’t remember who we played got a feeling it was Millwall as well at home. Semenyo started looked **** so we took him off and all of a sudden they didn’t have to worry about him and changed players and came at us and beat us.

I think Semenyo just needs some game time to get his match sharpness back. He has had precious little this season. If we want to see the AS of last season we may need to accept a few hit and miss performances from him to get there.

Agree, seems to be a confidence player, needs game time to improve his touch and regain confidence. Maybe start him with Wells for a while, this would also give Conway a bit of a break and sharpen him up also, bring Conway on as an impact sub for a while.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Semenyo, especially when in form...I think it is a confidence thing with him, but also at times I do see him playing too deep... I think he used to scare defenders, but I think they now know what to expect...plus his shooting is like when he was looking for his first goal..very rash.. maybe trying too hard..
Supercon is right he does need game time, but us fighting for survival maybe not the right time....
As we are, I would bring him on from the bench rather than start him.. just my opinion..
