Noooo, don't go all political on me Chesh <laugh>

Taking the Wallies out of the equation......I wonder how much support the BNP get through hatred, xenophobia etc. and how many are just for reversing the immigration policies of previous governments? Even the Labour Party have conceded they let too many immigrants in during their term <laugh>

I never voted when I was in the UK and if I did I certainly wouldn't vote BNP although probably would have gone for UKIP, not quite as far right but right enough for me <whistle>

Thai - What club do you think the first supporter in UK to get a football match ban over 'racist' Twitter comments supports?

TC, in all honesty it does not surprise me and I was not in any way trying to defend the actions of any football fan.

By my own admission, many people in Norfolk are still quite backward in their thinking, mostly the older generation. However, in the fine city of Norwich very few immigrants have made their way to the city, probably because their is nothing there for them so they are still looked upon by a quite a few as something very different and find it even harder to accept their presence. In many cases I would again put it down to ignorance, fear of the unknown and possibly a few other reasons. Again in most cases, I really don't think racism has a large presence but if you come out with an abusive or derogatory term, people are jumping up and down about it at an alarming rate. That is not to say racism does not exist, it probably does but the point I am trying to make is that because you use a particular word that the PC brigade has objected to, does not instantly make racists out of people that use those words.

For all I know that guy may have recently seen "Blazzing Saddles" for the first time and was highly amused by the term "******" constantly used throughout the movie and thought it would be funny to use it - I don't know, I can only speculate the same as anyone else. Overall I find the racism thing very hard to pigeon hole as I do not believe most cases where the finger is pointed is as clear cut as they made out to be.

To be honest the government are probably responsible for 50% of all the racists in this country.Every time its in the press about the government taking tax off hard working people to pay some immigrant with 10 kids £1500 pounds a week to sit on his bum telling us how much he hates the country another 5,000 racists are created from good hard working people.
