Quite alarming the way the heads dropped after Millwall scored, and we didn't threaten them after that. Same old launching it upfield whenever an opponent comes near. Solly is our only real bit of quality and I decided after today he has to get my vote for POTY. Button doesn't look the same on the big stage as he did at Sparrows Lane, and I expect Hamer to come back for the run-in.

I know mate! I was listening to it on radio Kent and when the third goal went in, I switched off to do something else. I can't beleive sometimes how much I look forward to saturday and how flat it can make me feel. Off to play with the kids now. Please, someone tell me we're away next week.

Honorable mentions for Harriott, who tried so hard, Pritchard who tackled like a demon but whose passing let him down, Solly who bossed N'Guessan in the first half and Morro, who was just himself.
Well done Millwall, who must have been on their knees after about an hour.
Most exciting bit of the afternoon? Helping the gormless, criminally inept stewards eject half a dozen Millwall fans who had somehow got past the 'extra specially secure ticketing arrangements' and sat themselves in Block M of UW.
Oh, and Michael Smith scored again.

I thought Powell got it wrong bringing off Haynes.
For all ****tus dominance he did look suspect with balls over the top and Hayes was making the right moves. (****tu was very clever to be fair, almost defending like a sweeper 5 yards behind his line).

Finally get to view a game... Didn't look that bad to me, Millwalls goals were nothing to do with playing better or dominance, they were just two chances taken. Harriotts shot was oh so close to giving us the 1-0 lead which would have changed everything afterwards.
But as most have said, numerous chances we had were always blazed over the bar or way off target. A couple of times a decent finish would have challenged the millwall keeper.

CP wants to know what we do differently at home and I wonder whether its concentration which is the issue.
We were pretty good value up until the point where Forde had a supposed injury in the box. You could see that what might have been a serious injury to the goalie disrupted the players concentration but not Kenny J who immediately set about subbing n'guessan with Easter. In the immediate aftermath Jacko got in Solly's way when dealing with Chaplow and Taylor didnt seem to know that he should have been marking Easter.
Having watched it back on the FL show this morning, what we all thought was a serious injury to Forde (should it be Fraud) didnt appear to be an injury of any sort, particularly seeing how he got on with the game immediately afterwards.
This isnt the first time at home that we have conceded immediately after an injury to an opposition player, and we have lost concentration in these cases as well. Kenny J is a shrewd enough manager to have noticed this and his immediate lack of concern for his keepers injury suggests that he may have waited an opportunity like this.
We need to wise up, keep concentration and note the tactical moves around us. It may be easier to keep concentration away from home when we are always at a disadvantage.

When we go behind away from home there seems to be a better response. Yesterday the heads dropped after the first goal, and after the second we looked as though we knew we were beaten.
