Now I know you're definitely on the wind-up ( mind you, just lately we could do worse than to listen to your wise words ) Hang on a minute while I look for those smiley things.

Ok, brb you've reeled me in.
I've been checking recent games and notice that after 6 games undefeated it all changed, so yes we haven't won a single game in the last 5. Which missing player returned when things started going down hill, your right again it was Egan.

    Something more serious
I have a couple of friends who support Millwall ( I'm being serious )

I have been told by them that Millwall have been allocated 1200 tickets for Sunday. It appears that these have been sold.
It is rumoured that some Millwall fans have been able to purchase tickets for 'home' sections of the ground.
We know that this has happened in the past - and I would be amazed if the club didn't suspect the same would occur for next Sunday's game.

Whilst I appreciate that the Club would have difficulty in preventing this situation - it makes even more of a mockery of the identity card nonsense that prevails with STH.

I raise the issue - not as a moan about STH restrictions - but as advice to fellow Gills fans - be wary of the stranger next to you on Sunday - please notify a nearest steward if the person next to you doesn't go mental when we score.

To be fair I don't have a problem if an away fan sits next to me, as long has they behave them self. I remember against Leeds some seasons back a Leeds guy sat right next to me, he wasn't a problem and disappeared promptly at the end. I've even done it myself and occupied an away end at the prospect of a heavily discounted ticket through a friend. If I was a Wall fan and the allocation had gone, what would I do, by hook or crook I would try and get in the ground any way possible. I have in the past even invited a Wall friend into a section next to me, albeit we were not playing Wall, yes, segregation happens for a reason, Charlton a prime example some seasons back but to give Wall only 1,200 tickets does leave questions in a 3 - 3.5k stand. Surely we are not going to mix half and half. Anyway remember Shrewsbury mate, when the stewards tried to stop us having a pint...or where was it we were not allowed to stand in the yellow lined zone at a game, did we listen, well yes, but we still did what we wanted <laugh> and those poor moron Wolves stewards will never want to see you and me again hahahaha as long has I've never got to queue for the bogs at Aldershot again, anything goes in my book :)

When I heard the number of allocation I too thought that there would be a 50-50 mix in the BMS . This would be a nightmare situation - we 've seen that, in the first instance of trouble, it is the stewards that 'try' to resolve the matter - always failing. This would escalate the problem before the police get called in. Invariably this has led to increased emotions in other parts of the ground - and if 'away' fans in 'home' sections were detected, it has led to tensions in those areas..............and tell me that it won't happen more - because of the opponent -and what's at stake !

Unfortunately not all fans have the guile that we had at Shrewsbury - and be able to hide their true identity. At AFC Wimbledon, we had apathy from the steward when he realised that we weren't actually causing any problem on the yellow hatching - but I've got less confidence in the stewards in the ground than I have in the linesman on the GRS side of the ground. I fear that they'll cause more problems when they get all 'jobsworthy.' At least at Wolverhampton the stewards couldn't care less about away fans. The only wonder there was that the home fans didn't think to actually urinate on us. - so perhaps the toilet situation at Aldershot would have seemed an improvement --- they were awful - but never as bad as the old bogs at Priestfield !

I fear it's all going to end in tears on Sunday ( I don't mean the score ) - and ironically, it might only be a dress rehearsal !

Doing the rounds on the Millwall sites, they estimate there's about 500 of their fans scattered around the ground in the home end. I agree that aslong as they behave themselves, I don't see a problem them watching the game but it's Millwall and some of our younger fans might see that as an opportunity to stamp their mark on football so I don't expect it go without any trouble.

Damn settings have changed on phone!

What i was going to say is i thought tickets sold had to be on data base with recent history...shouldn't take rocket science to track those accounts back if seats are identified as containing trouble makers.

They do have to be yes but they didn't limit the amount of tickets one customer has purchased. Someone could have easily bought 10 tickets, only actually need 4 and sell the rest to Millwall fans/give them to friends who support Millwall. But you're right, if any trouble does occur, they should be able to trace back to the original purchasers of that seat.

I think I should have just said never.

What a fiasco. I don't know where to begin. You just had to be at the game to see the appalling way in which the stewards and police dealt with the trouble inside the ground. There were so many incidents - and in every part of the ground except the BMS . There were just so many incidents. There were so many occasions when the Gills fans identified Millwall fans in 'home' areas -- and these idiots just couldn't sit quietly - no they had to provoke the home fans by goading them. And what did the police and stewards do ? Basically bugger all. It was a disgraceful exhibition of crowd control. At one point. in the GRS a number of police officers moved in to form a cordon between a couple of Millwall morons and the baying mob around them - - instead of ejecting the Millwall fans. !!
The inaction by the police and stewards defies description - and without any shadow of a doubt caused the emotions of many Gills fans to run high. I saw many, many Gills fans screaming at the stewards and police to eject the Millwall fans. I am really surprised that there wasn't a riot. And what did the stewards do - they had the audacity to admonish the Gills fans - being too busy to tell them to sit down and calm down -- yet doing nothing to remove the provocateurs.

What do you think might happen to me if I decide to buy a ticket for Millwall's play-off match at the den - and if I stand up and start singing 'The Last Waltz?' If I'm lucky I'll get arrested - if I'm less fortunate I'd get a visit from the Grim Reaper.

It might be best if Millwall do get promotion - I'd hate to think what might happen next season.

    Can anyone help ?
I need two extra tickets for the league game next season. I'm prepared to sit ( or stand ) in any part of the ground. I can't promise not to cheer if we score a goal. Maybe it might be 'safer' for me to sit / stand with the Millwall fans - because I'm bound to be given my own police 'guard.'

..................... OK, I might be joking - but, in all seriousness, let's hope we don't have the same farce next season.

Now I will support the Gills through thick and thin and as most of you know I can only normally for between 5 and 10 games a season but I think I might miss next seasons Millwall game after what happened at the beginning of this month. Sadly I feel I won't be the only one sharing that opinion either.
