TM absolutely slated their style of football without actually slating it, we can all read between the lines so to speak . The penalty shouts were pathetic they were looking for it and probably needed bookingearly on to try and put a stop to it, along with for the fouls. Only real criticism could have about that ref, it was obvious their game plan was to foul and disrupt the flow all afternoon and that should be stamped out. As for the offside I can understand hil being annoyed in real time as it was easy to miss but after seeing a replay he is seeing what he wants to see!
What's pathetic about this isn't the large groups going about confronting much smaller groups in the name of being a hard as **** hooligan! No it's the fact that out of that group about 80% walk about in the group watching the other lads 'fight' (attack unprovoked much smaller groups where the odds are firmly in their favour!) all in the name of being a dead hard hooligan but the second anyone fought back that 80% scarpered without landing or receiving a single blow! At which point the dead hard lads at the front weren't as confident and ran away while getting a few digs!
Can you imagine them today actually watching the footage of themselves getting a slap and running away from about 4 lads, and knowing all their mates are watching it as well
Even after the 80% ran away the rest still had more than enough to put up a fight ... ... they're a laughing stock after that.
Not only their mates but fans from all over the country will be laughing. Even more embarrassing about it all is that they are the one club that still thrives on the hooligan reputation!
Official Highlights 2 minute version: On the Road: The view from the other side Extended highlights: Full 90:
Haha explains it! I actually thought it was a pint, shows the quality we expect from football, festivals etc!
Just watched the EFL coverage on itv, we didn’t get anything near a word, just how Millwall were robbed of a win. Cooper diving in the box was not in his character yet spent most of the game trying to con the ref. Last time I watch that heap of ****e.
Imagine if your dad was there in the stands watching ... ... surely you'd be embarrassed. And they must practice, or at least talk about, that and the cheating and the time wasting in training or on the team bus. Surely it isn't anyone's dream to be playing this kind of 'football'. They'll retire and wonder wtf it was all for I'm sure.
I haven't heard this reported literally anywhere else. Sounds like a strange fantasy you've made up to make it seem like other SAFC fans share your opinion, because pretty much everyone on here disagrees with you... Which would be really weird behaviour.
Appreciated, RTB. Said there, on the extended highlights, that Millwall haven’t dropped any points at home after going ahead. Tremendous fight by the lads. Many positives from yesterday: Canny little debut for Anderson Great header and bravery from Cirkin Pritchard back in, and supplying a quality assist Michut adapting OK to the English game - is he becoming Evans’ successor? Alese getting more match sharpness Quiet from Gelhardt but every defence won’t be as physical as Millwall’s Kept calm heads and grabbed a point Patterson and the defence not wilting under the aerial bombardment
According to a mate, who was on the train, it was one drunken idiot who was dealt with by the staff ... ... if it had been someone who introduced himself and addressed his concerns Speakman might not have just thought he was a brainless tosser. Thankfully we have another 40,000 who appreciate what the bloke is doing for our club although, to be fair, they're probably not a 'top lad' like this hero.
