Not at all but he’s had loads of stick coming back tonight. Tbf we should’ve signed another forward, no doubt about that.

If he’s getting stick it is an absolute disgrace. He is the best thing that had happened to this club for many years. Jesus. If he leaves then we are knackered.

Can’t understand the problem with spearman , most of us would have took a middle table season this year , but becaus he has brought in such good players last year who are well good enough for the championship and pushing for promotion . I I know People want more , me too but just look where we are now to a year ago.
Promotion is possible yes , but when we got promoted if I said would you be happy with being safe by Christmas , would you have taken tha t.
It is now time to enjoy the football we are playing and trust the people in control ( for a change I think they know better than us )

    KTF
as Sir Quinn would say just enjoy the ride and don’t stress

Its so embarrassing the guy has transformed this club.

He has explained why we didnt bring in a striker

You pretty much are condoning it. I said it was embarrassing and you said 'you disagree' therefore you condon it.

I cant stand all the abuse the bloke gets, it really is a no win job with some of our supporters. So many think they can do better and that its so easy to bring in a quality striker. Hes explained clearly why we didnt sign a striker

I don't think Speakman will be particularly arsed about some lads on the train being knobs, he seems like he'd have rhino hide.

Presumably if he's travelling like that he's not too bothered.

Good post but some people think it’s like going to Tesco and picking up a striker off the striker shelves oh if it was so easy !!!

Well said Newton, this club is light years ahead of where we were six years ago.
People just like to find fault these days and are willing to twist the facts to fit their agenda.
Why can't we just enjoy the ride as it is now, bumps and all, think back to Phil Parkinson....nuff said.

People used to complain when we paid big money for crap , now we won’t and people still complain

just se who we pick up in the next window as we have set our bar high and clubs looking to Loan will now think we are the best place
But better still young forward looking players will be thinking this is the place to be

Exactly the question I would ask. Far from that if giving our employees earache imo.

just home from the match. We were poor, no fluidity but ground out the result against thugs playing hoofball and the ref was soft as ****e. Their keeper should get a ban for his boxing antics, dirty ****

Can all you number 9 covetous cocksuckers grow some balls and stop winging ffs. Tedious as **** man.

Good on you for going to the new den.
Millwall's tactics were not really challenged by the ref, but we had a good linesman.

Not sure the whinging about strikers is ever going to die down.

It is now as the saying goes in the rear view mirror and I hope lessons have been learnt.

TM: "I'd rather work with the players we identified and be judged on that. I'd rather keep doing what we're trying to do - rather than just bring someone in because they've got a nine on their back."

Admits deadline day was disappointing but insists 'future is bright'.
