So if there had been (say) 4 naughty drunk fans it would have been an absolute blood-bath?
I really hope we don't have two obnoxious fans at Barnsley - the game could be abandonded by the carnage and the points might be given to them!!

This was all staged by the WYP just to show that they had a point. Even the picture of a So Called Newcastle Fan has had the carrot air brushed out, he was actually feeding the Police horse. The "blood on the faces of Millwall thugs was ketchup from the super hot dogs the bloke in row 13 had knocked out of his hand and the girl who was crying had just told her Dad she was preggers. No fighting just freindly joshing!

What went on in the KC was only a small part of the problem that day - I think you'll find the trouble started long before then - that's why 16 Hull fans went to prion for it <ok>

Not true at all, our plod got names and addresses for all those they had evidence against(with the help of their local rag who printed images of all those involved), but the Met didn't act on the information. Said they were too busy, or some such bollocks.

    Correct sir!

I can't believe Humberside police are getting the blame for it on here, they did their job well (for once) and were let down by the Met.

Humberside police should have just gone down themselves and dragged them back to hull.

They would have done their job properly if they had actually arrested any Millwall fans on the day. They managed to have to have five of them carry out some Citynfan who had been in a row about having one of those electronic cigarettes not so long ago. They seem more reluctant to get involved where there is any possibility of anyone arguing back, Huddersfield, Careiff and Bristol City were other instances where away fans caused trouble but none were arrested.

It's true that they cocked up on the day, but regardless, they would have got convictions on all the ones they had evidence on had the Met done their job.

Misguided fools, the lot of you.

You honestly all think the Millwall lot got away with it?

    <laugh>

If you ever see the footage of those who caused the trouble and then look closely at any images of those incarcerated at Guantanamo Bay you'll find they are one and the same.

Granted the CIA have made them grow beards and wear orange boiler suits, which I suppose to the untrained eye could throw one off the scent.

    Not old Lilo though.

Too sharp for the Feds and all of you or so it would appear.

Mossad /SAS/Spetznaz snatch squads were deployed on the streets of Bermondsey within days of the disorder.

    FACT.

Next you'll be telling me the big O wasn't lacking in natural pigmentation of the skin and hair and didn't have red eyes.

    Wise up ladies.

    FFS wise up.

Have you notice how few troublemakers we've had at City since Humberside Police started killing them in the cells at Queens Gardens nick?

It's not as simple as running in all guns blazing and arresting people during large crowd disturbances, for starters it can cause things to escalate not to mention the danger to officers and stewards. The main reason is for there to be realistic chance of a conviction you need evidence, they had the situation under control (fans separated, riot police in between them) and let the cameras gather the evidence until the situation fizzled out, which it did pretty rapidly. They can then review the evidence and make the arrests, all of this is protocol in these situations, it's just the Met didn't follow through with the arrests.

Most of the City fans were arrested away from the stadium and outside a pub when they threw things at officers who were stopping them getting to the Millwall coaches.

Both , Humberside Police didn't do anything at the time but got it all on CCTV etc.

details sent to Met Police who said " sorry we're too busy " . Result , people in Hull got done , Millwall fans got away with it again

They didn't throw things at officers. One threw some beer on a police dog. Who said they were trying to get at the Millwall coaches. Other than the police and of course they never, ever, tell porkies where football fans are concerned.
Some of those fans were quite rightly annoyed. The police told them they were keeping them in the pub until they agreed to be photographed and gave their name and address. Something which you are not required to do if you have not committed an offence and are being arrested.
Personally I would just have carried on drinking until they got bored and went off shift. There are worse places to be stuck in than a pub.
