Everyone chats like it's a liner rise to world club champions. This level is unbelievably difficult. I agree that we need to find a way to take more risks in the team selection and try some other tactics but it's very difficult coming from a low base as we have in such a quick time. Eddie Howe has got us into the Champions League!! That's rediculous!!

I actually don't think Newcastle played badly they just didn't create anything but neither did they really barring shots from range and a spell in the 1st half.

We had longstaff Murphy and Burn out there so it was never going to be easy.

It's a very difficult away game and we were under strength. I don't think newcastle played badly I think they bullied newcastle and stopped every counter with fouls without cautions... nufc were poor in the final 3rd.

Think we can beat them at home let's see what PSG have got

 

Don't think the officials helped, they failed to penalise the shirt grabs. It's a learning curve for the players and they'll have to learn to just keep going rather than expecting the whistle to go like it would in PL.

 

I thought we were fairly poor tbh but we held out so **** it.

Thankfully they were useless infront of goal.

 

Think we did play quite poorly at times. Giving the ball away countless times towards the end, and some dreadful attacking from the likes of Gordon and Almiron late on. Bruno and Anderson giving it away for fun.

Botman and Trippier are CL quality, but in this formation nobody else is.

 

Think MoTM would be between Tripps and Pope.
